Wow. Literally, wow. It looks a beautiful place… And I though it was full of desolate castles hanging off steep crags in mountainous forests.
I’d love to pay it a visit now. Thanks for that…

I celebrated Nnew Years Eve 2000 in Romania. I agree it is a beautiful country. However Romania suffered greatly under Nicolas Choseshcu and the soviet occupation. So much of the capital ended up as those gray soviet-style housing projects and the people still suffer.
I would like to visit again, but spend less time in Bucharest and more time in the villages.

Romania was something different in 2000. Since then Romania made big progress
I can tell you this for sure.
And regarding Bucharest.. I agree with you that the capital city is not one of the most touristic places in Romania. This is more like a financial center, although there are some nice building there, some nice parks. I would recommend you the House of Parliament and the Athenaeum.
If you really want to have a nice trip in Romania don’t miss Fagarasi and Apuseni Mountains, Danube Delta, Maramures Region and north part of Moldova Region that includes some really nice monasteries.
If you want to see more pictures from Romania..go to http://www.iloveyouromania.blogspot.com
Here you’ll see many pictures..some are good, some are bad. The site is intended to present you Romania as it is and nothing more

Hello, this is such a pleasant surprise! I am Romanian and I really glad that a positive image is being promoted, as Romania is a country which has a great deal to offer. I can tell everyone that there many more great landscapes and things about Romania that aren’t presented here or they don’t know about…

whats the music in the second video, towards the end? The videos are better then the pics but the country looks freakin sweet, just out of curiosity why are you advertising your country to tourists? Does it need an economy boost through tourism?

Yes, Romania is a beautiful Country. Many try to leave and come to us asking for advice as we run a US Visas Information site, but I never advise them to move there. yes, go out and work, get some money, experience the lifestyle and work environement… but not actually leave Romania for good.
My dad has a word: if we don;t praise Romania, who will? Patriotism is not praising your people, but your country. I know you know what I mean
