HOWEVER it would have been so much cheaper to just bloody BUY one - wages lost in that time: at least $250 000, surely enough to buy the real thing? Since the guy obviously had an itch to scratch and the talent to do it, why not make something TRULY rare, something that there are only 1 or 2 in the world? Damn Countach - horrible machine. Sure, it was impactful like few other cars had been, but as a car on its own merit, terrible! I REALLY hope he drove a real one BEFORE he made this, as they're an absolute PIG to drive - horrible on the gear changes, the heat, the smell, no visibility, almost no comfort... and that ug-lee interior that makes absolutely ZERO concessions to elegance, design, HUMAN ergonomics... I am guessing he always dreamed of having one from childhood - always the way. Shame he didn't fall in love with a better car... At least make it a Miura, for the love of all that is beautiful!
