This poorly written posting highlights the writer's ignorance of the country and city she lives in. The hijab is worn on the head and the abaya is the robe. The water is de-salinated, it is a desert. Every person working there makes more money than they would at home, whether they originate from India, Bangladesh, the U.S., the U.K. or Mars. I loved living in Dubai, it opened my eyes, made me more tolerant and I learned a lot. There are more spoilt, silly woman there than one can imagine. Stroll into the Lime Tree Cafe at 10am and listen to them all complain about their maids. Shameful......
