The problem is, there really isn \u00e2\u20ac\u2122t a category to put them in. Usually they are placed in the &#8220;offbeat news&#8221;,&#8221;world news&#8221; or\u00e2\u20ac\u0153design\u00e2\u20ac\u009d sub-section of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153technology\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. However, I think with the growing popularity of pictures on digg, there should be a photography section.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/news\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/xs217.xs.to\/xs217\/07281\/Digg_News_1183979007886_crop1.JPG\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s about time the developers listened to the community, especially since adding one more category is not a monumental upgrade in any regard. And since the request has been made numerous times prior to this (<a href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/offbeat_news\/There_should_be_a_Photo_Section_on_digg%21\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/gadgets\/Digg_this_story_if_you_want_a_Pictures_section_on_Digg\">2<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/tech_news\/Digg_This_Up_If_You_Want_a_Photography_Section_on_Digg\">3<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/tech_news\/There_Should_be_a_Photography_Section_on_Digg\">4<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>It is becoming increasingly apparent that Digg is in dire need of a photography category on the site.<\/p>\n<p>If not&#8230;<br \/>\nDigg needs to allow stories to be filed under multiple categories. For example, a funny picture of an apple computer could be filed under pictures and apple (and design and who knows). I could see that making things worse though.
