this is horrible. why would you do this to a dog? keeping it around like this is more for the owner’s own selfish reasons than for the dog.
maybe Sarah should be put to sleep, a dog has as much right to live as a person. maybe you’re blind somewhat, but he looks pretty happy to be enjoying life to me…. so then if you think this is horrible, maybe we should start putting crippled people to sleep, and while we’re at it, why not mentally challenged persons too. Sarah you’re selfish to think that you know who should live or die and that you think just because an animal has a defect that their life should just be ended because they are not to your standards of what a dog should be. The woman that took this dog in and cared and loved it and trained it to walk is an amazing person and she should be commended for her efforts and love that she gave to this dog.
How is this horrible? It’s sad to see a dog like that, but I’m happy to know that there are people that love and take care of him. He doesn’t seem to be in pain or anything, so what exactly is wrong with this? All animals deserve a home and deserve to be loved, whether or not there’s something wrong with them.
Er, sorry, SHE. ;D
this dog is fantastic!!
Her name is Faith. There was a show about her and her owner on Animal Planet. It’s thought that she’s probably in no pain, and though her way of walking is slightly abnormal, it gets her around and she is thought to be perfectly happy. No need to fret.
Faith is the coolest….The woman that took this dog in is even cooler. Some people on this planet are so wonderful. Some others that share my name make me sad sometimes.
Wow! She is amazing. She seems like a perfectly happy, normal, healthy dog. No reason for her to be put down as long as her hopping isn’t affecting her hips.
That dog is amazing.. We should all learn something from her.. Strive and overcome.. Anyone can do it if you just put your mind to it.. And she looks sooooooooo happy!!! I love it!
It is great to see how well the dog has adapted to its situation, but it will eventually develop joint problems and that will be painful.
