I worked at the Magic Kingdom for 7 years, and was able to take with me a ton of secrets that ruin the “Magic” of Disney. Since I’m now burdened with these secrets, I figured I’d share 6 of them that most people have no clue about. If you’re a die-hard Disney fan that still believes in fairy tales and pixie dust, this list isn’t for you.

1. There are tunnels under the Magic Kingdom – the tunnels are large enough to drive vehicles through, and serve as a way for cast members to access areas of the park specific to their costume. I did a much larger post about the Disney tunnels on another site that goes into details, and provides a list of park access points from the tunnels. These access points are scattered throughout the park, but most people never notice them.

Bacon Vodka

Makes up one pint

• Fry up three strips of bacon
• Add cooked bacon to a clean pint sized mason jar. Trim the ends of the bacon if they are too tall to fit in the jar. Or you could go hog wild and just pile in a bunch of fried up bacon scraps.
• Optional: add crushed black peppercorns.
• Fill the jar up with vodka. Cap and place in a dark cupboard for at least three weeks.(No need to refrigerate)
• At the end of the three week resting period, place the bacon vodka in the freezer to solidify the fats. Strain out the fats through a coffee filter to yield a clear filtered pale yellow bacon vodka.
• Decant into decorative bottles and enjoy.

A Dutch student has come up with the ultimate way of making easy money – by staying in bed.

Yde Van Deutekom, 22, from Zoetermeer, is selling advertising on a website featuring a webcam showing him in bed. o far, he has been in bed for 21 days and has had more than £3,500 (~ 5000 euros) paid into his bank account.
Mr Van Deutekom said: “Sleeping is just a hobby of me, and it is the only thing I’m very good at. Everyone is asking what I want to do with me life, but what I really want to do is sleep.

“I stay in bed all day, except for taking a shower, going to the bathroom and making something to eat. That’s all I want to do. And I want to stay in bed until I’m very rich.”

A Japanese pin-up model says that her big breasts have not only boosted her career — they also helped her overturn a court verdict.

“I used to hate my body so much,” Serena Kozakura, who has appeared in product commercials on television said. “But it was my breasts” that won in court, she said.

Kozakura, 38, was convicted last year of property destruction after a man said she kicked in the wooden door of his room and crawled inside, apparently because he was with another woman. Kozakura had said the man made the hole himself.

In her appeal, the defence counsel held up a plate showing the size of the hole and said that she could not squeeze through with her 110-centimetre (44-inch) bust.

The judges were very good-mannered as they showed no expressions on their faces. I guess they’re well-trained,” Kozakura said.

Tokyo High Court presiding judge Kunio Harada agreed and threw out the guilty verdict on Monday, saying there was reasonable doubt over the man’s account.

Built by Bull SA for France’s Atomic Energy Commision (Commissariat à l’énergie atomique), the Tera-10 is currently ranked number 7 on the Top 500 list of fastest computers in the world.

The Tera-10 consists of 544 of Bull’s NovaScale 6160 servers with each one featuring eight Dual-Core Intel Itanium processors and runs at about 42.9 Teraflops. It uses Linux as an operating system and is used for nuclear testing simulations.

The geoduck or gooyduck is the largest species of clams on the face of the earth. The clam grows to around 15 to 20cm but it’s long siphon can reach 1 metere in length. It weighs between 0.5 and 1.5 kilograms but can grow much larger. There have been stories about 7.5 kg heavy gooyducks.

The organism, which can live well over 100 years, geoducks are a delicacy in China and Japa, where they are often eaten raw, sashimi style.
