Anyone who thinks of paintballing as a rather geeky way of simulating combat, might want to think again. That’s because a mini-arms race may be about to break out after the introduction of the paintball tank.
The Paintball Panzer is armed with a 60cm (24in) gun that can pepper opposition players with 15 paintballs a second. The one-man machine, which costs £9,000 ($18,000), was invented by former RAF engineer Philip Parsons.

It’s the kind of thing you’ve seen countless times in the movies. But for Brian and Roslyn Fields, it was a real life cliffhanger. Both are alive to tell the tale but it didn’t always appear that would be the outcome after they set off on a holiday in Queensland, Australia.
The couple was towing a trailer near the rural town of Crows Nest, when their car hit a bumpy road and flipped over right at the end of a bridge. The vehicle was left dangling there in a precarious position, with even a small movement the difference between having it fall 60 feet to a creek below or staying in place. Only a hardwood beam that punctured the car held it in place.
It swung there like a pendulum between life and death as Bryan scrambled out of the rig with the help of rescue crews. But his wife was in a far more perilous position. She was unable to get out and was trapped inside the car for what felt like an eternity, as workers gingerly attempted to cut her out of it.
They finally got her free by peeling off the roof and the duo is breathing a huge sigh of relief at their narrow escape. They’ve cut their vacation short to return home and recover, but vow the accident won’t deter them – and they’ll be back on the road again as soon as possible.

Former test pilot Bob Hoover shows how to fly with the engine shut off and how to pour coffee while flying upside down.
Since a barrel roll is a positive G maneuver (properly executed), the story was always believable, but there’s something about seeing it for myself that made me smile. 🙂
Oh, the other high speed, power off, low flying antics in that video are quite entertaining too.

I swear on my life this is 100% real. I was walking down the street looking for stuff to photograph and this guy is just sitting outside a coffee shop with this 80 year old woman and he is taking these little sofa things out of a bag. Then he opens another compartment in the bag and there are about five lizards like this guy. Then he would pose them and they would just sit there like this. Don’t really know why.He didn’t really explain much but he did say they take about three months to train them to do this. I didn’t bother asking if he only trained his lizards to sit in relaxing human posses or if there were other ones too. The whole thing was just to oddly perfect, I really didn’t need him to go in to detail.Also I like the surprising detailed craftsmanship of the sofa. Now I can say I’ve truly seen it all!

The reusable condom dates back to 1640 and is completely intact, as is its orginal users’ manual, written in Latin.
The manual suggests that users immerse the condom in warm milk prior to its use to avoid diseases.
