The Great Dario

So I tried to shake off my friend Dario with some aggressive flying but the skill of this man is compared to none. He has no trouble keeping you in frame, dodging trees and burbles ( Burble: A separation in the boundary layer of fluid about a moving streamlined body, such as the wing of an airplane, causing a breakdown in the smooth flow of fluid and resulting in turbulence. ) Thank you Dario for your magnifico filming skills. Two extreme sports professionals undertake a daring wingsuit fly-by of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. Norwegian Espen Fadnes and Frenchman Ludovic Woerth decided to attempt the stunt after drawing up a list of their dream flight destinations. The pair were ferried into position on trikes – the motorised hand gliders used to give tourists an aerial view of the city – before making the leap from around 2000m, with Fadnes flying below the arm of the iconic monument, and Woerth passing above it filming. The wingsuit fliers landed at a Rio roundabout in the early hours, before heading back to their hotel for a celebratory breakfast beer.

Unbelievable Wingsuit Cave Flight! Batman Cave, Alexander Polli

Wingsuit / BASE-jump athlete Alexander Polli does the never before done—a tactical flight through a narrow cave on a rugged mountainside. The flight starts with a jump from a hovering helicopter, Alexander reaches speeds of 250 km/h (155 mph) while following a precise trajectory leading to the cave opening, he then fully commits and flies directly through the narrow opening of the “Batman Cave!”

Ludovic and I doing a wingsuit flight into Rio de Janeiro. We did not have permission to fly into the city, but to respect the commercial air traffic we did the jump 05:45 in the morning. The first flights arrive at 06:05

Am impresia ca asistam la o premiera, nu am vazut pana acum niciun material pe net (si sunt multe) in care sa asist la  practicarea acestui sport extrem printre zgarie nori.

Asistam la o premiera, primul salt de acest gen – dupa cum afirma autorii – facut in Romania.

Pentru iubitorii acestui sport extraordinar de spectaculos voi posta astazi cateva materiale pe care le-am adunat in ultimele luni. Sper sa va placa, pentru mine sunt ca un drog si nu un drog care provoaca dependenta dar un drog care imi ofera o stare de liniste sufleteasca.
