Horrorul cu accente supranaturale Annabelle (USA, 2014) este un spin-off al filmului The Conjuring a carui actiune incepe inainte ca fortele raului sa se fi dezlanţuit. John Form a gasit darul perfect pentru sotia sa, Mia: o papusa vintage, frumoasa, imbracata intr-o rochie de mireasa alba. Dar incantarea Miei nu dureaza mult. Intr-o noapte de cosmar, locuinta lor e invadata de membrii unui cult satanic, care ataca violent cuplul. Si acestia nu lasa in urma doar balti de sange si teroare. Cultistii aduc la viata o entitate atat de malefica, incat oricat de cumplite ar fi faptele lor, tot nu se compara cu ispravile creaturii sinistre care e acum Annabelle. [via]
