Our first speedflying visit to romanian Carpathians, the Busegi range. Base town Busteni – very nice cosy place.
Great views, amazing nature. Flying altitude 1200-1300 metres. Interesting lines, 2 normal landing areas. Start to north-south 180 degrees. There is a cable car to the plato. (10$ one way) Beware of bears! 🙂

Holy shiiite. This is some of the most incredible boarding AND cinematography. Well done! Definitely seeing this large and at full volume!

Niste imagini exceptionale, un scurt preview al unui scurt metraj (?) ai carui protagonisti vor filma si in Romania (am dedus la secunda 32). De urmarit in full screen si neaparat HD (1080p).

Bonus: la sfarsitul postului puteti viziona o intamplare a carui protagonist este un schior care a avut nesansa sa cada ~ 400 metri in gol printre stanci pentru ca nu a fost atent pe unde calca in momentul cand se afla pe varful unui munte. Din fericire a scapat teafar iar imaginile suprinse de camera instalata pe casca sa sunt ametitoare.

Here is a view from a European (living in the Alps): yes, obviously, natural sounds are nice but the artists here wanted to do it their way, the American way. I find this video fantastic. Truly American version. Love it. Different, original, great music, exciting. If you like the Swiss mellow type then you should perhaps search under Swiss paragliding.

In urma cu cateva luni am mai postat un material despre speed flying iar astazi pot spune din nou ca este un sport extrem de spectaculos dar deosebit de periculos. Si ca sa intelegeti mai bine, in 2009 si-au pierdut viata noua practicanti, nu punem la socoteala si numeroasele cazuri de accidentari grave (oase rupte & shit) – detalii aici.

Un sport mult prea extrem insa deosebit de spectaculos (ma repet, stiu!).
