Newt & Vasques in 2007

Yesterday I went to buy drain-o and dog food and ended up with the Alien Quadrilogy instead, whoops. I also had a date later that evening, whoops. Yeah instead I sat down with an 12 pack and watched Alien, Aliens, and Alien 3 right in a row and realized that the middle one, Aliens, not Alien 3, is the weak one. I haven’t seen these movies for a long time, I was a kid when I saw them, this is what I remember. Alien was boring, Aliens was awesome, and Alien 3 was weird.
But whoops, look what i found searching on the net. Do you remeber that little girl who was screaming “Ripleey..Ripley…” handing a head of some doll in her hands all the time? Her name was Newt. Or, do you remeber Pvt. Vasquez?
Here they are now in 2007.

I didn’t mention Alien 4 because I’ve never seen it, I plan on watching it tonight after watching Alien 3 Special Edition, I’ll probably write something about it later I don’t know.

Good night everybody! 😉

Bullpuckey! Aliens is the best of all of the Alien movies, Ripley totally kicks ass in that movie.

Aliens is most definitely NOT “the weak one” (although IMO neither is Alien 3, that title goes to Alien Resurrection). Aliens was nominated for 7 Oscars, btw, including one for Best Actress for Sigourney Weaver. Since you hadn’t seen these movies since you were a kid you’re partially forgiven for this incorrect assessment, but if you continue watching all three of these movies you’ll find that all 3 have great re-watchability. Also, the disc 2’s of those 3 movies in that Alien Quadrilogy box set all have some of the best behind-the-scenes making of documentaries you’ll find on any DVD, they’re all definitely worth a look (Alien Resurrection’s documentary matches that movie in that it’s comparatively weak).
