Stevie Case (Stevana Case, born September 7, 1976) is a recognized figure in the video game industry. She is noted for being one of the first well-known female gamers and is controversial for her methods of self-promotion. Case has filled several roles in the industry, from the first female professional gamer at the Cyberathlete Professional League to level designer to Vice President of Development.
Case gained repute for defeating John Romero (co-founder of id Software)in a Quake deathmatch. After that, she was employed at Ion Storm, first as a game tester and then as a level designer. Case’s relationship with John Romero turned into more than just playing games in early 1999 when they began co-habitating. That relationship ended in early 2003. Until then, Case was the Vice President of Monkeystone Games, a game development company she co-founded with Romero.

Shortly after cosmetic surgery, Case became known for her looks and penchant for games. Stevie was approached by Playboy to appear in a pictorial based on an interview she did in the Los Angeles Times. She did the photo shoot in the Spring of 2000. Images of the photo shoot were released on-line but never made it to the pages of Playboy magazine. Here are some photos:

The next shooting series includes the images released on the March 2000 cover mount CD along with the issue featuring Stevie as the cover model for the PC Accelerator magazine. All photographs were taken in Dallas, TX by photographer Ric Moore. (some of them were taken by John Romeroin December of 1999)

The next photo shoot took place on August 25, 2000 at the Ion Storm offices in Dallas, TX. Rolling Stone featured her in October 2000 on the cover of the Net Book technology section, calling her the “The Perfect E-Babe.”

Case picked her nickname “Killcreek” from a regional rock band which she admires from Lawrence, Kansas where she attended college, and near her hometown of Olathe, Kansas. The band in turn took the name from an actual creek: Kill Creek. She did not intend for the nickname to stick, but it has.
As of November 2005, Case is employed at Tira Wireless in sales/business development. To bad for the gaming industry.

Se traieste bine!
Priviti niste casute “modeste” din localitatea Buzescu. Un mic Bevery Hills al Teleormanului unde exista cate un turnulet pentru fiecare stea. Multe dintre casele tiganilor sunt construite fara un proiect sau alte documente necesare ridicarii unei astfel de constructii. In mod normal, fara documentatia necesara legalizarii constructiei, nu se poate obtine actul de proprietate, iar fara acesta, imobilul respectiv nu poate fi racordat la curent, gaz sau alte utilitati. Presupun ca astora nu o sa le plateasca Becali curentul in momentul cand vor fi debransati (prin 2054 se zvoneste a fi anul debransarii, cand tehnologia va fi foarte evoluata si angajatii Electrica vor purta costume de kevlar sau unele asemenatoare cu cel din imaginea de aici )
In spatele fiecarui palat exista “casa parinteasca” (daca putem sa ii spunem asa) unde locuiesc de fapt oamenii astia…cum le zice?! ca tot imi scapa…
Cei ce au filmat sunt bucurosi ca au scapat cu viata si ca nu i-a vazut nimeni, pentru ca riscau sa fie linsati. Locuitorii nu accepta prezenta camerelor sau a vreunei echipe de televiziune. Rar am vazut imagini din acest “sat”.
Comertul cu metale neferoase i-a imbogatit pe majoritatea sii sa nu va mirati deloc daca aflati ca romanii nostrii “slujesc” pe la aceste case!
Dar iata doua filmulete facute “in fuga” dupa cum spuneam. Daca ar fi oprit masina si ar fi fost vazut aparatul de filmat in mana cameramanului amator, ar fi fost luat la bataie sau cine stie ….

Si iar din ciclul de emisiuni : “Nu imi place dar ma uit ca sunt curios/curioasa” va prezint urmatoarea parere umila de telespectator la fel de umil!
Asta seara m-am gandit la un moment dat sa butonez televizorul. Muaica mia …sa vedeti peste ce emisiune am dat., se numeste “Test de fidelitate“. Dupa ce m-am oripilat si data trecuta (ca m-a mancat sa ma uit ) am zis sa vad ce le mai poate capul realizatorilor de data asta! Ok, mut pe Antena 1 si observ ca in acest nou si minunat episod, testata de fidelitate este o femeie iar actorul ce o ademeneste in capcana este un papagal. Bai frate, unde ii gasesc pe astia? Idolii femeilor? Chiar asta ma gandeam, ce pana mea ar vedea o femeie la un papagal din asta cu capul mai mare ca fundul, imbracat trendy, plin de ifose & fiÅ£e si asa de slab incat antebratul ii era mai gros ca bratul?
