This video shows the line for Comiket, a doujin convention that occurs twice a year in Japan. The usual size is approximately 500 thousand people in a convention center. An organized system like this is absolutely necessary to keep people in order.

Recunosc ca la inceput nu am inteles nimic din acest timelapse insa la scurt timp am cautat pe Google termenul  si m-am dumirit. Comiket este cel mai mare targ de reviste si carti de benzi desenate din lume care se desfasoara de doua ori pe an, in Tokyo, la care iau parte cei mai buni caricaturisti din tara. In cele trei zile de desfasurare, peste 500.000 de oameni ii calca pragul. Daca impartim aceasta suma la vizitatori/zi observam ca peste 130.000 de oameni viziteaza zilnic “Tokyo Big Sight” – o imensa cladire care adaposteste evenimentul.

Daca ne indreptam atentia asupra imaginilor de mai jos vom observa cum au ales japonezii sa faca fata zilnic unui asemena flux de oameni.  Totul tine de organizare, rabdare, civilizatie si respect. Ca la noi. Nu? 😀

Soferul acestei masini a parcat (sau asa a crezut el) insa masina a luat-o razna blocandu-se in marsarier. Si uite asa in fimlumetul de mai jos putem asista cum in decurs de 6 minute o masina fara sofer deseneaza cercuri pe asfalt, asta in fata pompierilor si politistilor americani cu burta. Noroc ca un temerar s-a incumetat si a incheiat spectacolul, vedeti minutul 6:50.

A TINY terrier the size of a coke can is vying to be named the world’s smallest dog. Little Meysi is 7cm tall, 12cm long and weighs just 150g – about the same as a hamster. She was so small at birth her owner mistook her for a bit of placenta and nearly threw it in the bin before noticing it moving. The puppy, now three months old, was born 16 times lighter than the heaviest of her five siblings in Jarocin, Poland.

Continuam seria recomandarilor facute de voi. Astazi ascultam un alt vocal trance trimis de catre Adi (caruia-i multumesc si-l mai astept “pe la noi” cu noi recomandari). One of the benefits of seeing a new Pixar movie in theaters is catching the short film that plays before the feature. The studio has churned out gems like Day & Night, Partly Cloudy, One Man Band, in front of some of their biggest hits, and this year in front of Brave the wonderfully charming short La Luna was featured. The short has now been released online in full, so if you missed director Enrico Casarosa’s gorgeous pic in theaters, now’s the time to rectify that. Not only is the story top-notch, the film also includes a great guitar-infused score by Michael Giacchino. Though it ultimately lost the Best Animated Short Oscar to William Joyce’s moving The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, it’s still a swell piece of work that’s well-worth your time.
