“The Lost Thing” is a 15 minute animated short film based on the highly acclaimed picture book by multi award winning author and illustrator, SHAUN TAN. A modern fable with a unique aesthetic, the story is at once ideosyncratic and universal in its appeal to all ages. The film marks the directorial debut of both Andrew Ruhemann & Shaun Tan.

Based on Tan’s 2002 kids book with the same name, the story sees a boy discover a strange creature at the beach while out collecting bottle tops. After spending the day with it, he realises it is lost and sets about finding a place where it belongs. While it’s essentially a children’s story, it will appeal to young and old alike.

This is an animated short film project, created by a team of five enthusiastic first-year 3D animation students. The short film goes by the name of ‘Happy Hour’. The idea started from a simple joke while we were out enjoying some beers and eventually grew into our first animated 3D short film.

Unul din cele mai bune desene animate de scurt metraj. Este povestea unui personaj cu o fobie mai ciudata, mai exact frica de a iesi dintr-o anume …”camera”.

Astazi mi-am adus aminte de aceasta scurta animatie care m-a amuzat la culme acum cativa ani. Sunt sigur ca multi dintre cititorii mai tineri nu au vazut-o inca iar fanii Pixar se vor bucura sa o revada. 😉

MO si F.O.C.A. va asteapta pe http://creativemonkeyz.com/robotzi/

Satui de atatea romanisme si de faptul ca conationalii nostri internauti distribuie pe internet copii ale muncii lor (si-si fac reclama la camioane – p’asta nu prea am inteles-o), baietii de la CreativeMonkeyz s-au decis sa opreasca difuzarea serialului pe canalul lor oficial de Youtube. S-au mutat pe cont privat pe Vimeo si fac embed direct lpe site-ul personal, un lucru bun – parerea mea –  munca lor trebuie rasplatita si in acelasi timp protejata.

Asa ca gata cu prostiutele, bagati la favorite pagina asta si nu uitati: in fiecare joi, la fel ca pana acum, un nou episod va vedea lumina zilei.

Story: A man drives his car furiously down a narrow road, surrounded by a vast forest. When he encounters a deer in the middle of the road he makes a villainous attempt to ram it. However this particular hit and run has jaw crushing, battering consequences.

Reluam rubrica noastra saptamanala prin intermediul acestui scurt-metraj. O animatie realizata de niste danezi, sper sa nu ma injurati va placa – e cam creepy.

Legendarul MO si epicul F.O.C.A nu sunt inferiori…

Tuturor: ne cerem scuze pentru intarzierea de joia asta (desi in mod oficial nu am anutat o ora anume ; e important de retinut ca nu avem episoade facute in avans pe care sa ne-abtinem sa le punem doar de dragu comentariilor – fiecare episod e facut saptamanal intr-o echipa de 3 oameni pe poveste, din care 2 pe tehnic – nu prea putem sa le scoatem “instant ca nessu”), saptamana urmatoare ne-am propus sa ne revansam si sa punem episodul nou la ora 19:00 (7 fix – plus, minus cateva secunde)

Stati linistiti, eu nu am uitat (iar) sa postez joia noul episod din “RObotzi“. Asa cum puteti citi si mai sus, realizatorii au intampinat cateva probleme (tehnice, presupun).

“Cand pun ochiul in luneta / Curat tot de pe planeta!” 😀
