In 2009, cand mi-am luat primul meu televizor LED, seria Planet Earth a fost primul material HD ce l-am vizionat in propria casa. A fost o experienta uimitoare, tocmai din acest motiv pot spune ca sunt extrem de emotionat, urmeaza sa ma bucur de Planet Earth II, nu mai pot de nerabdare. Si aici exista trei elemente de luat in seama: 4K, David Attenborough si Hans Zimmer. Deja ma ia cu tremurici…. 🙂

Nu sunt sigur cu ce ocazie au fost filmate imaginile de mai jos sau din ce documentar fac parte, cert este ca ceea ce se intampla incepand cu minutul 2:18 arata destul de ….nasol? Putem sa le numim “Imagini din folclorul romanesc”? Ce veti vedea in continuare nu contine efecte speciale,  imaginile par a fi filmate pe caseta VHS, stie cineva din ce context sunt preluate?

Un club underground, într-unul din cele mai mari oraşe din Europa. Peste 400 de tineri dansează. Dintr-o dată, patru artificii aprind tavanul. Într-un minut, încăperea arde. 26 de tineri mor pe loc. Peste 150 ajung arşi la spital. 37 dintre ei vor pierde ulterior lupta cu moartea.

Pentru strănepoţi, încă ceva despre Bucureşti
1980, Sahia Film. Regia: Paula şi Dorian (Doru) Segall

Ce ar trebui să ştie bucureştenii din 2080 despre strămoşii lor de la 1980: un documentar foarte simpatic semnat de Sahia Film. Cu toate că azi nu se mai ştie mare lucru despre această casa de producţie dedicată exclusiv filmelor de actualităţi, iar ce se ştie (crede) este că aici fiinţa una din bucătăriile propagandei comuniste, realitatea a fost una mult mai nuanţată. Aici s-au produs chiar şi unele documentare care se abăteau de la linia de partid, cu riscul de a rămâne „la sertar” (a nu fi difuzate) – de exemplu, „Mânăstirea Văcăreşti” de Nicolae Corjos, film realizat pe furiş în timpul demolărilor din 1984. Cât priveşte tonul în care se prezenta discursul din filme, chiar şi anii proletcultişti au avut parte de inventivitate şi mult umor (e suficient să amintim „Un minut” de Ion Bostan). ” – sursa

Pooping on the beach in India
The inhabitants of the Mumbaian slums prefer to do ‘ their thing’ outside. A sewer as we know it doesn’t exist there, so most people drop their dropping on the nearby beach. ‘There are only 4 toilet blocks for 25.000 people’, explains one of the residents. ‘When it’s finally your turn, the day is almost over!’. And what is the outcome of this problem? Excatly, a beach full of crap.

Dupa lansarea documentarului “The Romanians are Coming“, in care producatorii britanici ne-au pus cumva intr-o lumina proasta (cel putin in cele doua episoade difuzate pana acum  – vezi aici si aici), doi fraţi din Brasov – Anda si Rares Teglas – s-au decis sa arate lumii si totodata englezilor povestile de succes ale romanilor care traiesc in Anglia, mai exact 13 povesti de succes a 13 romani.
