Cea de-a treia serie de documentare realizate de catre producatorii BBC (The Blue Planet (2001) & Planet Earth (2006)) se intinde de-a lungul a sapte episoade. Intr-unul din ele putem asista la secventa de mai jos, un pinguin simpatic isi face de lucru printre lucrurile celorlalti co-locatari de pe insula. Nu stiu daca o face cu buna stiinta sau doar din reflex, cert este ca e simpatic foc.

Recent, cei de la MTV s-au gandit sa faca o vizita in Palo Alto, California – la birourile celei mai mari retele de socializare din lume. Si nu au plecat de acolo cu mana goala ci s-au intors cu niste materiale din care a iesit un excelent documentar. Daca pana acum eram obisnuiti sa vedem/auzim doar stiri despre Mark Zuckerberg –  fondatorul Facebook, despre care s-a facut si un film –  iata ca avem astazi ocazia sa aflam, in premiera, cum arata viata de zi cu zi a unui angajat care lucreaza intr-o companie de succes.

Daca nu ati auzit inca de Human Planet atunci nu stiti ce pierdeti. Acest serial produs de BBC reprezinta o uimitoare experienta cinematografica, toate episoadele sale fiind filmate in HD in nu mai putin de 80 de locatii diferite din lume. In fiecare dintre acestea ne este prezentat modul in ca oamenii supravietuiesc in cele mai neprimitoare locuri de pe pamant. O calatorie interesanta in natura, o modalitate prin care puteti lasa la o parte zgomotul, poluarea sau stresul prezent zi de zi in viata voastra pentru a gasi relaxare alaturi de niste imagini extraordinare.

I got frustrated with NASA and made this video. NASA is the most fascinating, adventurous, epic institution ever devised by human beings, and their media sucks. Seriously. None of their brilliant scientists appear to know how to connect with the social media crowd, which is now more important than ever. In fact, NASA is an institution whose funding directly depends on how the public views them.

Ceea ce veti vedea mai jos reprezinta munca unui om pasionat si totodata pornit pe cei de la NASA care nu sunt in stare sa interactioneze cu vremurile noastre si sa faca ei insusi astfel de materiale pentru publicul larg.
Pot sa zic ca sunt cele mai frumoase imagini din 2011, la sfarsitul postului veti gasi inca doua materiale din care s-a inspirat realizatorul, amandoua fiind la fel de magnifice. Folositi cu incredere butonul HD. 🙂

Skateistan: To Live And Skate Kabul is a beautifully shot film that
follows the lives of a group of young skateboarders in Afghanistan. Operating against the backdrop of war and bleak prospects, the Skateistan charity project is the world’s first co-educational skateboarding school, where a team of international volunteers work with girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 17, an age group largely untouched by other aid programmes.
